Bacon and Company go chocolate-free

Bacon and Company take on DECHOX

Chocolate. A third of UK brits have admitted to eating chocolate in private so their partner does not catch them, and nearly 100% of Bacon & Company have said that they don’t think they could live without the stuff.

So this March we’ve decided to challenge our staff to do just that and go chocolate-free in a sponsored challenge. That means absolutely no chocolate bars, no chocolate cake not even any choccy biscuits with their tea are allowed. That’s why they need your help.

Bacon and Company are chucking the chocolate and going on a DECHOX to help the British Heart Foundation fund its life saving heart research. We’d love for you to sponsor them, to help them on their way and to raise vital money needed for heart research. Plus, any support and/or words of encouragement to help them through would be gratefully received! You can donate to their DECHOX via my JustGiving page

The picture below was taken the day before the DECHOX started. They weren’t prepared to give up the chocolate until the very last minute!

Our Town office are taking on a chocolate challenge of their own, they are too giving up chocolate for the whole of March. Each member of staff is donating money to a charity of their choice. If they give into temptation and eat even a little bit of chocolate, they will have to double what they’re donating.

Wayne has chosen to donate to the British Heart Foundation, Wayne is keen to support such an important charity.

Toby and Jenny have chosen to donate to the local charity, Chesnut Tree House which provides hospice care services and community support for children and young people with progressive life-shortening conditions throughout Sussex.

Samantha has chosen to donate to Blind Veterans Uk, a charity providing training and rehabilitation to blind ex-service men and women.

All of of the money that’s raised will be going to truly amazing charities. We wish them all the best of luck, it sure will be worth it.
