Glen Bacon FNAEA MARLA - Director

Glen founded the company in 1990 and is very proud to have over seen the expansion that has taken place in the intervening years. He has over 30 years experience in the property industry and has earned the reputation as a trustworthy professional who still enjoys ‘being on the front line’. Glen is married with 3 children and away from the business he is a keen amateur musician, both as a trumpet player and musical director. Football is his other passion, having been a Tottenham Hotspur fan for over 40 years!

Hayley Scammell MARLA – Director

Hayley started her career in Estate Agency in 1985 when she first met Glen Bacon and then joined him in 1990 when Bacon & Co opened their first office in Crabtree Lane, Lancing.   In 1991 Hayley introduced Lettings to the business and has worked hard developing this side of the company, proudly supported by her team of loyal staff. 2000 saw the birth of her first child and after the arrival of her daughter in 2003 she was delighted to become a Director of Bacon & Co Lettings Ltd. Hayley spends most of her spare time with the family and running a busy house but when she does get time to relax she loves to mix with friends and family and planning holidays abroad. Her in-laws reside in Spain so loves occasional trips escaping to the mountains for a change of lifestyle!

Wayne Kenward FNAEA – Director

Wayne has over 30 years experience in estate agency and is a Fellow of the National Estate Agents Association. Wayne firmly believes that personal service and selling a property for the best price in the quickest time has been a major contribution to the success of the office. In his personal life Wayne’s interests include football, golf and windsurfing which all take second place to the time he spends with his young son Joe.

Dave Hughes - Director

Dave started his career in estate agency in 1982 in Worthing for a small independent agent. Dave then worked in Lancing, being promoted at 21 years of age to Branch Manager. He then advanced onto Area Manager for two corporate companies in the South East based in Worthing and was responsible for both the estate agency and the financial services part of the business, having passed the CeMAP exams in 2001. Dave joined Bacon and Co in 2003, becoming a Director in 2005.  Dave has now has 28 years experience in the business, 16 as an Area Manager for the Worthing offices.  In his personal life Dave’s interests include golf, football, eating out and travel.
