Detailed tenancy checks

We take every precaution to get the right tenant for you and your rental property, so we undertake thorough background and financial checks of all prospective tenants. If appropriate we will also reference a guarantor to safeguard your rental income to the best of our ability, to provide you with peace of mind.

From 1 February 2016 all private landlords letting property in England are required to check the immigration status – or right to rent – of prospective tenants before agreeing to establish a new tenancy.  Failure to do so could result in penalties of up to £3000. Bacon and Company will carry out these checks on your behalf and ensure follow-up checks are made.
