Celebrating the Festive Season: A Year of Community, Charity & New Beginnings with Bacon and Company

As the festive season approaches, all of us at Bacon and Company Estate Agents would like to wish our wonderful clients – old, new and especially those celebrating their very first Christmas in a new home  — we hope your season is filled with joy, comfort, and memorable moments.

Helping people move confidently into the next chapter of their lives is at the heart of what we do. Knowing that many of you will be celebrating in a place you can truly call home makes this time of year especially meaningful to us.

Looking Back: A Remarkable Year of Local Community Support

2025 has been one of our most fulfilling and community-focused years yet. At Bacon and Company, we are committed to being more than a trusted estate agency — we are proud to be an active part of the community we serve.

Throughout the year, we’ve supported a wide range of local events, schools, clubs, charities, and fundraising initiatives, strengthening our connection with residents and organisations across Worthing and the surrounding areas.

Highlights from Our Year of Giving Back

Supporting Local Events & Sports Teams

We were proud to begin the year as one of the main sponsors of the much-loved Broadwater Carnival.

Our support for local sport also continued:

  • Supplying training kit and sponsorship to Worthing Cricket Club

  • Sponsoring a youth team at Worthing Town Football Club

These partnerships help encourage young talent and promote healthy community engagement — something we’re deeply passionate about.

Charity Fundraising & Inspiring Achievements

Spring brought a wave of charitable events and personal achievements:

  • We supported the Goring Motor Group Family Open Day, donating a large raffle hamper for St Barnabas House.

  • We proudly sponsored long-time client Lyn Wilson, who completed a courageous wingwalk to raise vital funds for St Barnabas House.

  • Our team, the Bacon Allstars, took part in the Am Am Charity Golf Tournament supporting Chestnut Tree House — and even won!

We were also pleased to attend the Durrington High School Careers Event, helping inspire the next generation of estate agents and property professionals.

Engaging Local Schools & Families

July was a standout month filled with school events and family fun:

  • Running a stall and donating the top raffle prize at the West Park School Summer Fayre

  • Speaking with students at the Sir Robert Woodard Academy Careers Day

  • Sponsoring the Broadwater Family Fun Day, helping raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease UK

As summer rolled into autumn, our support continued as the main sponsor of Worthing Play Day, a free event enjoyed by hundreds of local families.

In September, we proudly supported Broadwater Broadfest, raising funds for Macmillan, and in October, we attended the WDEAA Golf Day on behalf of Guild Care — finishing an impressive second.

Throughout the festive period, we’ve also donated raffle prizes to Thomas A Becket School, Elm Grove School, and West Park School, helping boost seasonal fundraising efforts.

Thank You for an Incredible 2025

From everyone at Bacon and Company, thank you for your trust, support, and continued connection throughout the year. We’re honoured to help so many families and individuals buy, sell, and move home with confidence.

We wish you a joyful Christmas, a peaceful break, and a bright start to 2026.

Here’s to another year of supporting our wonderful community — and helping even more people find the perfect place to call home.
